Press and media defined

Print and online media

Provide either of the following:

A masthead from a current publication listing you as an editorial contributor
At least two recent articles, or links, with your byline

Broadcast media

Provide one of the following:

A letter from the editor or producer on station or network letterhead, or from a company email address, stating that you are covering the event on assignment
A government-issued or media outlet press ID
A news outlet webpage listing you as news staff — news director, editor, producer, reporter or anchor
A business card from your media outlet reflecting your editorial role

Ineligible forms of verification

Not accepted

Freelance or sponsored articles written about your company
YouTube, Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram sites, personal or enthusiast blogs, forums and user groups
General managers, account representatives, sales executives, PR and marketing staff, and other non-editorial media professionals
Anyone whose principal purpose for becoming an Insider is, in our judgment, for reasons other than covering the food, beverage and beer industries as working news media
